Hit 40, my husband drove all over town to "price out" the best firework stands - the $7 he saved was lost in the gas he spent.... and he too spent nearly $100. I asked why didn't we just light a $100 bill on fire we could have saved the wear and tear on the car. Siigh.
Those parfaits look delicious! Sounds like yall had fun! It is so dry around here if a firecracker hits the grass it would start a fire.

When I was in the fourth grade I took scissors to one of those snap -n- pops. I don't know what I was thinking. I scared the poop out of myself:)

Hope you had a great 4th. There's no doing fireworks here due to the fire conditions. Oh well, for those that brave the heat, they can go to the stadium and watch. It's about 105 here and it's almost 10 at night...so I think not.

Looks like fun. My 17 year old son had about 8 friends over & they had a blast & I have no horrible teenage party tales!
Unfortunately my dog hid in the bathtub last night because of the noise.
