My question of the day is: What was one of your favorite art projects that you remember making in school? Maybe you or your parents still have it?!

Oh man I wish my dad did save my stuff. I'm sure it was macaroni something. I know for the boys it's any of the ones with their hand prints ;)

I had a couple that I made in school that I remember. Sadly we dont have either project still. Both were done in jr high.

I made an eyeglass holder out of clay. I shaped it like a bassett hound's head so the nose piece of my glasses sat on its nose.

Another project, we were making printings from linoleum. The object was to draw a picture on the linoleum…then take the special v-shaped blade and cut out a section so the background color showed through. You'd ink it up, print it and then while the papers were drying you'd cut the next section out so that the first color would show while the next color got printed. It was a challenge to have to think backwards so the finished product came out right.

I loved when we got to make ceramics in elementary school. My parents still have them & their soo goofy looking!

I made a clay mask, like a gargoyle. I loved it, it turned out so cool! No clue what happened to it, though.
