When my kids used to complain to me about their socks hurting their feet, I knew exactly what they were talking about. Socks can bunch up and be uncomfortable, and if you happen to step on the seam, it can be really painful. For kids with sensory issues, it can be even worse.

Smart Knit Kids sent me some of their seamless sensitivity socks for review recently. I studied the little sockies and by gosh, there really aren't any seams. Not on the toe and not on the sides. They are just all smoothness and softness, and the top of the sock stays up without elastic binding to bother little legs.
Another thing that is really cool about the socks is that they don't have heels built in. Have your kids ever tried to put on their own socks only to throw a mini sock tantrum because the heel ends up on top and they can't get their foot in the right way? Not with these socks! And not having a heel means the socks will hug those little feet, and they won't grow out of them as quickly.
Know what else is special about Smart Knit Kids socks? The sock material wicks moisture away to help keep feet dry and healthy, and it's antimicrobial to inhibit odor-causing bacteria.
Try it: Smart Knit Kids socks come in 5 different colors and are available in ankle, crew, and knee-high lengths. You can purchase them online at Therawear!
Win It: One lucky winner will receive 3 pairs of Smart Knit Kids seamless socks!

Not eligible for the contest, but...
wow, I like the idea that it has no heels built in. Yes, we've had those tantrums about how difficult it is to put on socks, blah blah blah! :)
i'm very familiar with these socks. a lot of the moms at trinity's school rave about them because all of our kids have sensory issues. they are great!
Such a cool idea! I love that a mom came up the idea and found someone to make them for her (that's what I learned form their website)>

Corespun yarns using Lycra and form-fitting design result in children's socks that “hug” the foot reducing wrinkling and bunching.
These socks would be great for my 6 yr old boy who highly dislikes the seams on his socks.
Learned that children with sensory problems highly benefit from these socks.
Thanks!

They are knit from the toe up - like a cocoon.
Both my grandkids would love these socks!!
I learned that the socks are made with special fibers to keep your feet dry. This is very important in the summer and the winter. Keeping feet dry means keeping them warm and happy in the winter. My son is going camping and has to keep his feet dry in his hiking boots. I would love to win and I think he would really enjoy the socks. He also has sensitivity issues and I think the no seam design would be great!
I subscribed to your blog posts!
I learned that after several requests for seamless socks from "desperate" parents, SmartKnitKIDS socks were created.

There's no heel (since it's seamless).
lkziegler[at]gmail[dot]com
I learned that the mother that came up with this idea did it because other "seamless socks" for her son weren't seamless... Since its launch in 2003, SmartKnitKIDS continues to find new markets and grow every year. Super soft material and a seam free design make it the most comfortable kid’s sock on the market.
I learned they have knee supports that help reduce pain and swelling... reasonably priced TOO!!
