Spin Brush Pro and Arm & Hammer Advance White

Holy jingling tingly bits! That’s exactly what popped into my head when I tried the Spin Brush Pro Clean Sonic Toothbrush for the first time.

I have a tendency to brush my teeth way too hard, so my dentist recommended that I get an electric toothbrush. With the 16,000 brush strokes per minute and the multi-angled bristles, I don’t have to do as much work, so I’m much gentler.

I’ve used electric toothbrushes in the past and I wasn’t impressed. It seemed like they slowed down and kinda fought to maintain power while in use. This one doesn’t do that at all. I can definitely tell that it leaves my teeth with a cleaner, more polished feeling when I use it.

I’m not really sure why it’s call a Spin Brush because it doesn’t spin in circles, but nonetheless, it works really well and that’s all that matters. It runs on AA batteries and retails for about $15.

I was also able to try Arm & Hammer’s Advance White Brilliant Sparkle toothpaste. I’ve made it no secret that I’ve always preferred gel over toothpaste so I was pessimistic about this, to say the least.

I have to admit that the micro-polishers in this whitening toothpaste really work. Plus, I was expecting the pasty, cakey feeling of baking soda, but I was shocked to find that I was left with a completely minty and refreshed feeling. I would actually buy this myself. Seriously.
