Oh how FUN! I bought one of those helium kits for one of Princess Nagger's previous birthday parties - she LOVED it, so I'm going to have to do it again! :)

Before she grows out of the 'cutsie' stage, I loved the Pretty-in-Pink Princess Party theme idea - some great hints and tips! I'll be spending quite a bit of time over on that site! ;)

Tip: Use a Balloon Time Helium Balloon Kit to fill the party area with red, white and blue helium balloons. Tip I loved from the website: Make your child a "Personalized Picture Puzzle."
Surprise your child by having one of his or her photos enlarged and glued to cardstock paper. Cut the picture into puzzle shapes, place them in a small box or envelope and have him or her do the puzzle — without telling your child what it is!

I love this tip for a princess party: Hang a large poster of a frog on the wall. Blindfold the girls one at a time, spin them around, and have them place lip-shaped stickers or real lipstick kisses on the frog. The person who "kisses" the frog closest to its lips gets a cute stuffed frog that may one day turn into a prince!

I liked the tip on how to Fill the house with holiday decorations, made by the family. Make "Floating Santa's" by inflating red balloons with a Balloon Time Helium Balloon Kit and decorating them with markers, stickers, and cotton balls for a beard, then float them around the house. Use the same materials to make floating elves, reindeer or ornaments. When you look up, you'll see Santa and his friends hovering overhead!

Penny said make a Christmas Countdown Calendar, with suggestions for daily activities. Buy a large sheet of white poster board or cardstock paper, and another sheet of red construction paper the same size. Cut 25 "doors" in the construction paper, then glue the paper to the poster board (be careful not to glue down the doors). Inside each door, write a holiday activity such as "Make Cookies," "Read a Christmas Story," "Visit Santa," "Make Gifts," "Decorate the Tree," and so on. Close the doors and seal them with holiday stickers, then number them on the outside from one to 25. I'm going to really try this!!!!
