Tropical Traditions Moisturizing Lotion – Review and Giveaway

A little over a month ago I tried the Tropical Traditions coconut oil in a smoothie. After that, I knew I wanted to try something else containing coconut oil.

I decided to try the moisturizing lotion and although there are six available scents, I knew instantly which one was for me. Peppermint!

Tropical Traditions skin care products all include virgin coconut oil and virgin palm oil along with essential oils imported from France. I could tell from first sniff that the lotion used quality essential oils, not cheap artificial fragrances.

The color is a sand color which caught me off guard for a moment, because I was expecting white. But really, who cares?

Given that I chose peppermint, I didn’t slather my entire body with it. I mean I love peppermint, but I don’t want to be a living candy cane, right?

The lotion contains no alcohol, so it does take a minute for it to absorb completely. The first time I used it, I put it all over my arms and hands. I felt very moisturized and I loved smelling the scent of peppermint (happiness!)

The only thing I didn’t love about the lotion is the bottle. It’s a very generic white bottle with a generic white label. That’s perfectly fine for me, but I’d love something a little fancier for gift giving purposes. Maybe I’m just nitpicking though, because I really do like the lotion itself.

Now to get the hubs to use it to give me a peppermint scented foot massage…heaven!
