I had to click it because when I first saw it I saw a bandage around the sock? I have to say I think my 10yrolds socks are in similar conditions some days.
Man child. That's what I call mine, because even though he is only 8 his legs (and back actually) look like he's in the throws of puberty. I'm frightened to see if he's gonna grow into one of those back-waxing-required kind of dudes. And, I hope he doesn't take up swimming as a sport b/c I really don't want to invest the time needed to shave the kid to make him sleek enough for success. I'm not that committed!
how does it make you feel to see a man-leg on your son? impossible for me to imagine since mine(boys) are still so small and i will bee close to 100 by the time they grow hair on their legs.
i am too stunned to comment on the state of the "sock"
Almost reminds me of a pair of jeans a friend use to repair and repair... I don't mean a knee patch here and there.. nooooo full on fabric patches to cover the crotch, butt, and everywhere else.. At one point there was less jean that patches... what is it with men?
Now if your man child put that sock on after it got in that condition, that is pretty impressive. If all that occured over the course of his day, well I can only say that his day must have been rougher than mine.
Boys. You've got to love their low maintenance. My boy just got rid of his jeans that were being held together with safety pins in places. And he could well afford to buy some new ones; just lazy.
LMAO! That is hilarious. Guys really are so clueless. I haven't seen my hubby in a pair of socks near that but I have seen underwear with multiple holes!
Ewww, nice blood. How does this happen anyway? BTW, maybe it's just the way the picture was taken but he looks like he has some big feet! My hubby has size 15 and it pretty much sucks trying to find shoes.
HA! so freakin funny! Just decided to do some actual following love this morning..can't believe I don't follow U already..That's just nonsense. I stopped that problem in a hurry. :)
Wow! Yeah, that sure is some man child..You got the stick ready to beat away potential freaky girls from your house?;)
He'll be starting a new fashion trend. I have the worst time getting my 13 year old not to wear his holey socks. I need to go on a mission one day and sneak them all out of his room.
Ive seen some pretty shabby socks in my day - cause the hubs loves to collect them - but THIS ONE takes the cake! Even my hubs would have tossed this one. I guess we all know what Santa is filling this man childs stocking with!
I think pizza delivery is on the top 20 list of most dangerous jobs and now I know why! Whoa! I agree...it never goes away either...I had to "convince" my hubby to throw out his holey socks the other day. And by "convince" I mean threaten. :)
Definitely a man child. They have this so exagerrated broad view of life that they don't see the things moms do with their tunnel vision. Yet, looks like something actually did tunnel away at the sock, started on the flesh of his lower leg and ankle at the time of the pizza delivery (ouch), and then decided to halt when hitting the wall of hair. This is a mystery movie in the making, "The tunnel sock monster, will he get you?"
snicker. boys are so terrible. i guess girls can be too. i am clinging to a lot of really old and ratty underwear. the elastic is so loose that they are comfortable. i would rather wear these than buy new ones or go up a size. :)
Ew. I might be a packrat, but I make it my goal in life to throw out my husband's socks before they get like that. If I have a son one day, I'll do the same for him.

I love the things we all blog about.. so random. Hope he was ok.

O.M.G! lol! this is the most pathetic excuse for a sock i've ever seen!
Ouch!
oooh, hope he's ok! that's how my hubby's socks look on a normal day!! lol, he hates when i throw them away! ugh, men! ;o)
That cracks me up! Boys.
I had to click it because when I first saw it I saw a bandage around the sock? I have to say I think my 10yrolds socks are in similar conditions some days.
WOW, that's a sock!or got a shock?
You're awesome!
Have a great day!
love ya!
hugs hugs

Love it! Makes me feel a whole lot better about some of the things my children used to wear -- or, if not better, at least not alone.
Well....needle and thread anyone??
It has a certain 'been in the wars' look to it.
Looks like he was in quite the battle.
...stopping by from SITS...

Yowza! Boys are so funny, aren't they? Ugh. They just don't care about some things, not like us gals do.
OMG that is hilarious! That is one ravaged sock!
I'm not even sur how he got that on his foot.
Wow that is a pathetic sock.
Ouch! i hope that sock got tossed, or it could be patented for a new style of sock. happy WW and take care.
What the hell is wrong with him? Buy that boy some new, non-bloodied socks!
Justine :o )
Wow!! Way to get your money's worth out of that sock. I'm impressed.
I bet you could totally darn it.
Wait, do people darn any more?
That is just way too funny for words! Is that a lucky sock, perhaps? ;)
lol. Looks like something my son and my husband would do. Weird. lol
This is what I love about your blog!!!!! You are so funny...
how does it make you feel to see a man-leg on your son? impossible for me to imagine since mine(boys) are still so small and i will bee close to 100 by the time they grow hair on their legs.

Is it his favorite? That is what my son would tell me! A magical WW to you!
Almost reminds me of a pair of jeans a friend use to repair and repair... I don't mean a knee patch here and there.. nooooo full on fabric patches to cover the crotch, butt, and everywhere else.. At one point there was less jean that patches... what is it with men?
Please tell me he trashed it!

Excellent. Cute little guy. I mean, big hairy man.
Um, really? That's the worst I've seen it.
Gosh...boys will wear anything until it disintegrates, won't they?
Ouch!
How do they grow so quickly? We must stop it. Those socks are SO funny. Oh. My. Goodness! : )
Looks like he lost a battle with a lawn mower. Or a sock eating monster.
Boys. You've got to love their low maintenance. My boy just got rid of his jeans that were being held together with safety pins in places. And he could well afford to buy some new ones; just lazy.
It doesn't go away either! My husband never throws away his holey socks either!!!
How the heck do you get so many followers??? I mean besides being wonderful and stuff....♥
We need the story behind this one!
That is one SCARY sock!
Oh S***! Hope he is OK!!
Ƹ̵̡Óœ̵̨̄Æ·
LMAO! That is hilarious. Guys really are so clueless. I haven't seen my hubby in a pair of socks near that but I have seen underwear with multiple holes!
lol..you are too funny..
How does that even happen?
is it a matching pair? pizza delivery will get you every time!
What? I did not know that could happen..
Ouch!
It looks like a murderer's foot. Well it does.
Ewww, nice blood. How does this happen anyway? BTW, maybe it's just the way the picture was taken but he looks like he has some big feet! My hubby has size 15 and it pretty much sucks trying to find shoes.
I think it's a fashion statement...
Looks like he struggles throwing away socks as much as I do:)
What is with boys and their socks! We have to pry them off my sons feet to get him to change to new ones, jeez! :)
don't you think it's time to toss that once it hits the laundry basket!
That's hilarious! Boys! Happy WW!
So many things...The sock? The blood? That's what my husband's hairy legs look like! :/ And I hear they only get hairier as they get older! Haha!
Hope he is ok...boy's socks are gross...I have 3 -- they are always dirty!!
Man-child... hehe. I like that. :)
Those ARE man legs attached to a clumsy boy body. :)
boys, boys, boys...
need i say more!!!!
Yikes! LOL!
What in the world?! LOL... I'm confused but I'm blonde so it's okay!
Happy WW! http://angiemarion.blogspot.com/2009/12/not-wordless-wednesday-thanksgiving.html
I think he needs new socks. LOL ;0)
Boys! He'd probably continue to wear it that way if you hadn't called him on it.
That sock deserves an award!
I need to send your notes to you-need your address-
Congrats to you!
pve design
you see an old holey sock, i see a new dust rag. poetayto, poetahto.
Young men give us plenty to blog about, huh? LOL LOL
Cece
What a sock! Boys just really don't care, do they? lol
You have been tagged on my blog! :)
This was funny!
LOL Funny! What happened to that sock!
Hehe! Now that is one loved sock!
Too funny! Makes him look tough. :-)
Yeah that is really gross!
what a sock
Hahaaa..This is so funny! New model sock! Love your blog:)
What is it with boys? LOL Thanks for dropping by my blog today. Hope you're having a good week!
Don't you wish socks were disposable?
Sheesh! It looks like something tried to gnaw it off!
I dig his style.
Must be an MSU grad! HeeHeeHee...
LOL, I love that it is literally hanging on by a thread hahahah.
I feel your pain, I have a teen son. The hair, the hair?? When did our little boys become MEN????
Looks like Santa needs to bring socks this year lol
lOl that sock is barely hanging on by a thread! I didn't know Chewbacca wore socks
Note to self: teach MiniMac about socks and how to keep them in one piece. LOL.
OMG, when I saw the photo of that sock, I thought I was going to read that he lost a fight with the neighbor dog!
Wow! That is all I can say, Wow.
If he wears socks like that what the hell do the underwear look like? Doh!
That sock has definitely seen better days. My son has a few holes in his but nothing like that. Too Funny.
Happy WW!
I was wondering what happened to my sock....seriously I have one almost like that...lol
From a male perspective, there is still a lot of wear left in that sock!
-Luke Sidewalker
I know what you can put in his Christmas stocking this year.
HA, all I could think of when I saw this was the state of your undies when you made a trip to the emerg last winter. Seems similar:)
though you didn't post a pic of the undies just a mental image
HA! so freakin funny!
Just decided to do some actual following love this morning..can't believe I don't follow U already..That's just nonsense. I stopped that problem in a hurry.
:)
Wow! Yeah, that sure is some man child..You got the stick ready to beat away potential freaky girls from your house?;)
haha!!! sad to say, but i think my husband has the mate to that sock.
LOL! Looks like my daughters socks!
Perhaps instead of sending you a foxy tie, I should send socks?
I think you should buy him a new sock, dude.
I have seen some bad socks in my time, but wow to that one.
It is literally hanging on by a thread for dear life. I don't feel so bad about my holey undies now.
whoa! I'm not sure that even qualifies as a sock anymore!
My husband wears socks like that. They are so bad that I actually offered to darn one.
Now, to learn how to darn...
hahah thats somehting my husband would do!
Wow! Seems like he took quite the spill!
Thanks for stopping by today!
I guess socks would be a good Christmas present eh?
Guess what Santa should bring him?!
Looks like he needs some new socks!
ROFL!!! It's amazing the things guys hold onto. My husband has a t-shirt in a similar condition :)
How did he even get that sock on?? Or did it get mangled in the pizza accident....?
lol wow
Is that what's in style now? :)
He'll be starting a new fashion trend. I have the worst time getting my 13 year old not to wear his holey socks. I need to go on a mission one day and sneak them all out of his room.
~Carolyn
Did he pick that sock out of a drawer to wear, or did it rip while he had it on?
How did he even get that on his foot?
Looks like the sock is trying to escape his foot. I guess this is what I have to look forward to with my 3 boys.
someone needs socks for Christmas!
:)
Thanks for the heads up on WW
I swear...men will wear their socks (and underpants) until they literally fall off their bodies.
Definitely time for Santa to bring some socks.
That is quite a sock! (Or lack of sock..)
LOLOLOLOL!!! That is too funny!
LOLOLOLOL!!! That is too funny!
WHOA!! i so need to hear the rest of this story!! how on earth did he do that?!
Hope he is ok!!! and just a little LOL to the sock not him ;)
That is one scary sock....The real question that comes to mind is "HOW THE HELL DID THE SOCK MONSTER (THAT LEAVES IN THE DRYER) NOT STEAL THIS SOCK"?
Yikes. What was he thinking?
Hahaha! Nice! However he does have very nice ankles, I'm a little jealous.
Blood from pizza delivery??? My oh, my!
It's like a thong-sock!
Ive seen some pretty shabby socks in my day - cause the hubs loves to collect them - but THIS ONE takes the cake! Even my hubs would have tossed this one. I guess we all know what Santa is filling this man childs stocking with!
Yikes!
oh wow... this is too funny
I think pizza delivery is on the top 20 list of most dangerous jobs and now I know why! Whoa! I agree...it never goes away either...I had to "convince" my hubby to throw out his holey socks the other day. And by "convince" I mean threaten. :)
Are you sure my dog didn't get his sock? He loves to eat socks lol.
I swear, he must have borrowed that sock from my brother. Teenage boys..hmmph!
When I first glanced at this pic I thought I dog went after him!
Too funny, these boys.
Looks like my feet!
That sock is ready for the trash heap!
Wow, yikes! At least my husband tosses them after getting the second hole. . .
You know they depend on mom for everything, even at his age... Time for a trip to WalMart! LOL!
Should all of your readers mail you socks for Christmas? How funny would that be to deliver your son hundreds of pairs of socks?! That'll learn him.
hehehehe I love it! Its actually hanging by a thread. ;)Looks like somthing I would catch my 7 year old wearing. Kids, ya gotta love em. ;)
That looks like something my husband would wear. Or at least keep forever.
Well at least he has a sock. My girls seems to lose their socks and always wear mismatched pairs LOL. Happy Wednesday.
That is the worst looking sock I have ever seen! LOL. Only a guy would wear that!!
LOL!!
It's the leg hair that's so disturbing - and my son's only 16!
LOLOL, now that is one sorry looking sock!!
Geez, what happened?
Wow. Just wow!
Ah ha!! OMG this is priceless!!
Boys will be boys. haha so funny hope he is ok lol....Hey I'm back looking forward to being here daily again :)
seriously...that is how my husbands dress socks look daily. Throw them away already. LOL
Cracking up at your hair comment. Yowza is right. :)
Definitely a man child. They have this so exagerrated broad view of life that they don't see the things moms do with their tunnel vision.

I know what will be in your son's Christmas stocking!
LOL, I don't want to imagine how his underwear looks like!!
Oh my, isn't that loverly :D
What mom it's covering all the spots it's suppose to right? You put the hightop on and it's all good ... LOL
What a crack up. If your son is like most guy man/children I know, he probably wore it again the next day!
Have a great December!
jj

Isnt it just amazing what boys consider wearable?
I had a favorite sweatshirt like that...I just couldn't throw it out!
That man boy should be asking for socks for Christmas.
Funny he thought it wasn't *yet* ready to be thrown out?!
I see that and my first thought is "boy". What more is there to say?
LOL That's funny! At least are kids give us something to blog about!
Aha! This is the younger version of the 50 year old man who sports white tee shirts with holes in them while doing yard work.....
I'd always wondered how the condition began!
WOW! That is a serious disaster!!!!
Can you call that a sock?
Seriously, what would possess him to keep that. It can NOT be comfortable in any way shape or form.
Hahah. Looks like something my little brother would do :)
That's precisely how hubby's socks would look if I didn't toss them away at the first sign of a hole.
That is both hilarious and sad at the same time. Men do the funniest thing.
I don't see anything wrong with the sock, arent they all suppose to look like that on all our boys LOL
