Word on the Street Game {Review and Giveaway}

“Will you play a game with me?”

As soon as the words, “Will you” come out of my mouth, my family knows exactly what I’m going to say. I get shot down half the time, and the other half they oblige me just to shut me up for a while. Jerks.

My daughter would play with me if she lived here. She loves me.

Anyhow, my son gave in to my pleas to play Word on the Street and it was so much fun!

One team flips over a category card and hurries to come up with a word that fits that category. Any letters from that word that are on the game board are slid a lane closer to your side of the street. But you have to hurry before the timer runs out!

I’m not good under pressure so I was fairly frantic and haphazard in my approach. My son was calculated and clearheaded. Jerk.

The funniest part of the game was when he drew the category: Something A Player Did Today and he chose the word SUCKED. I swear I laughed uncontrollably for five whole minutes! (Because it was true.)
