My fondest memories of my childhood are all about imagination and pretend play. It’s the magic of childhood!

I was recently asked to review a most wonderful toy, the Melissa & Doug Grocery Store and Lemonade Stand. I was thrilled to do so because it’s a toy that encourages active imagination and open-ended play, two things that I seek out when looking for toys.

I was impressed with how sturdy and well-made the stand is, and I didn’t even feel the need to swear while assembling it. That ya gotta love.

The plastic bins are all removable, and there are 9 chalkboard signs so kids can label and price their play food however they would like. There is a nice sized countertop for your little entrepreneur, and the canopy is reversible so that kids can play grocery store OR lemonade stand.

The food and accessories are sold separately. Just look at all the options they have to choose from!

Both the stand and the pretend food are safe and fun for ages 3 and up!
