Tropical Traditions Powdered Laundry Detergent {Review and Giveaway}

Look at this monster 5 lb container of Tropical Traditions powdered laundry detergent!

See, I quit powdered detergents years ago because they were leaving clumps of undissolved powder in my clothes and it ticked me off.

But I thought I’d try it anyhow, cuz you know I’m nice like that.

I know you’re supposed to put the powder in the tub before the clothes, but I seem to forget that 9 out of 10 times. However, in spite of my ineptitude…this detergent dissolves and rinses cleanly every single time.

I’ve had it since January and I still have at least half the container left. Do you know how many liquid detergent bottles I would have gone through in that same amount of time?

I love that it can be used on any type of fabric (other than silk and wool) and that it can be used for any water temperature.

It cleans with the power of oxygen bleach destainer and deodorizer, but is environmentally safe, non-toxic, and free of phosphates. Yippee!
