Piggy Paint Non-Toxic Nail Polish {Review and Giveaway}

Piggy Paint is the first non-toxic nail polish that I’ve ever tried. It’s a water-based formula, hypo-allergenic, and is completely safe for your nails and the environment.

I was sent a cute pink polish called Forever Fancy, along with some non-toxic nail polish remover, so I set about prettying up my tootsies.

The one thing I noticed immediately is that there was no obnoxious, toxic smelling odor to the nail polish. None. What a refreshing change of pace!

I applied two coats of nail polish, let it air dry for 60 seconds, then took a hair dryer on low heat and “set” the polish.

It sets to a durable, hard finish just like regular polish, but because it’s water-based, it takes a little longer to harden, so the hair dryer just speeds up the process.

Et voila! Piggy Paint on piggy toes!

Update after one week: I did not put any type of top coat over the Piggy Paint polish, and they’re just now starting to chip. Not bad at all!
