Flotation? Whatever

My high school had a pool. This angered me.

You see, when your high school has a pool, you know that P.E. classes are bound to include a section involving swimming.

I don’t like swimming.

I’m not really sure how that happened because as a child, I took a ton of swim lessons and I did well. I made it through the advanced classes and everything.

But swimming sucks.

So yeah, back to high school. We had to go through a series of tests to check swimming skills, right? No problem.

Check off the list. Get out of the pool.

However, I discovered I couldn’t float.

I can float like a dead woman with my murdered face in the water, but I absolutely can NOT float on my back and stay alive.

I suck at staying alive.

And I failed swimming because of it.
