Eucerin Everyday Protection Face and Body Lotion with SPF + Giveaway

Eucerin logo

Coming from the Midwest where the winter winds doth blow and abuse tender skin, I’ve learned that not all lotions are created equal.

I used to buy cheap lotions in the summer when my skin wasn’t so parched, and quality lotions in the winter when I was desperate for moisture, but I’ve changed my tune in that regard.

I need year round skin lovin’.

So since I’m a longtime Eucerin fan (love, love, love), I thought I’d check out a couple of their SPF protection lotions.

Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion, SPF 30

Eucerin Everyday Protection Face Lotion

-Dermatologist recommended
-Provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection
-Fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula moisturizes for 24 hours
-Fragrance-free, non-comedogenic, and clinically proven safe for sensitive skin

What I love most about the face lotion is that it contains SPF 30. My sun worshiping days are over, and keeping my face protected from sun damage is very important to me.

The lotion comes in a little spritz bottle, and I apply it to my face and neck after my morning shower and underneath my makeup. It’s very light, but has really been keeping my skin hydrated. One application a day is all I need.

Eucerin Everyday Protection Body Lotion, SPF 15

Eucerin Everyday Protection Body Lotion

-Dermatologist recommended
-Provides broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection
-Antioxidant enriched with Vitamin E helps defend against free radicals
-Fast-absorbing, non-greasy formula lasts 24 hours
-Fragrance-free

I found that this lotion works best for me if I use it in the morning after my shower, because it seems to absorb most deeply at that time.

When I try to use it during the day, it leaves a residue on my skin surface which I don’t care for, but as a morning all-over moisturizer, it’s absolutely fantastic and my skin definitely stays hydrated for the entire day.

I also love that it contains SPF 15. It’s not enough for a full day’s sun protection, but it’s more than adequate for the relatively short time I spend outside in the yard weeding, raking, or dumping death powder on those blasted fire ant mounds.

Overall Thoughts: While nothing will ever replace the original Eucerin lotion as my favorite, I do think that these are wonderful additions to their line of products, and I really appreciate the SPF protection for casual, everyday sun exposure.
