Have you ever finished drinking something and then you see that there was a dried crud nugget in the glass? So disgusting!
My kids are so scarred from having it happen so often that they still ask me every single time when I serve them a drink if I checked the glass first.
Trauma much?
So I had to start using a dishwasher rinse agent – Finish Jet-Dry. (It was either that or pay for my kids’ future therapy.)
I don’t care about film, water spots, or even moisture left on my dishes. Ok, wait. I do find the moisture annoying, but mostly I can’t stand those leftover dried food bits.
There’s a special compartment into which I pour the Jet-Dry, and my dishwasher has a sliding bar that indicates whether it’s full or empty. One 16 oz bottle fills it, and it lasts me through about a month’s worth of everyday dishwasher use.
But quite frankly, I’d refill that sucker every week if I had to, because it works. It’s released in the rinse cycle and it prevents those little bits of crud from redepositing on your clean dishes, glasses, and flatware.
And it sure gives a sparkling shine to my glasses too!
