I can’t bear the thought of S’mores being just a summertime dessert, so when I saw that it was one of the seasonal flavors of International Delight, I knew I had to buy it and share the delight!
And so I made an ooey, gooey triple chocolate-y marshmallow-y graham cracker S’mores ice cream pie.
Sinful? Why yes. Messy? Of course. Worth it? Abso-lutely.
Triple Chocolate S’mores Ice Cream Pie
Ingredients
6 Tbsp butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
1 1/4 cups graham cracker crumbs
1/2 gallon vanilla or chocolate ice cream
1/4 cup S’mores Seasonal International Delight
1 cup mini semi-sweet chocolate chips
2/3 cup marshmallow creme
1 1/4 cup hot fudge sauceDirections
1. To soften ice cream, put container in fridge for about 30 minutes while working on crust.
2. Spray pie plate with cooking spray. Combine melted butter, sugar and graham cracker crumbs pressing firmly into pie plate and up sides. Freeze until firm.
3. In a bowl, stir together softened ice cream, chocolate chips and S’mores International Delight creamer. When mixed well, pack ice cream into the graham cracker crust shell. Cover and freeze for about 4 hours until ice cream is firm.
4. Spread hot fudge sauce (unheated) over the top of the ice cream. Layer a slightly smaller circle of marshmallow creme on top of the hot fudge. Place back into freezer until ready to serve.
Serve and enjoy! The layers of the pie will flow and run into each other giving it that classic S’mores ooey gooey perfection.
