Baking with Kids & COOL WHIP Frosting + Giveaway #CoolWhipFrosting

Have you tried COOL WHIP frosting yet?

o.m.g. Do it, do it, do it!

It comes in three flavors: Vanilla, Chocolate, and Cream Cheese and it’s in the freezer aisle by the regular COOL WHIP whipped topping.

A few days ago, I bought two containers of vanilla, and you know what? It tastes exactly like COOL WHIP to me with the same light, delicate sweetness and soft whipped consistency. It’s a little thicker which makes it perfect to use for topping desserts, but it doesn’t have the cloying sweetness and stickiness sometimes found in regular frosting.

So I invited my friend’s kids to come over and help me bake a cake. We added some red and green icing colors into the COOL WHIP Frosting, mixed it up and then I let them frost to their heart’s content!

And what did we get?

A Christmas Craziness Cake!

We baked a devil’s food sheet cake and cut it into four sections. The kids frosted each layer with alternating colors of COOL WHIP frosting and stacked it up all Christmas-crazy-like. And then they frosted the top with candy cane stripes.

Don’t you love kids and their fun ideas?

Psssst…the frosting is the perfect consistency for kids to work with because it’s not thick and sticky.
