My house smells goooooooooooooooooood! I always infuse my home with holiday fragrances at this time of year, but I tend to stick to the “safe” ones like cinnamon. Always with the cinnamon.
What can I say? I know what I like.
But this year I decided to live dangerously and smell differently by sampling the Febreze holiday collection, and you know what? These are scents worth sniffing!
I typically don’t like plant-based scents. Floral fragrance? Blech, blech, blech. So I was suuuuuuuper hesitant to try the Glistening Alpine even though it’s just an innocent tree and not really floral. So I’ll be honest. I set it aside for weeks in favor of the Cozy Vanilla Sugar.
I had never seen Noticeables with dual scented oils so I busted that baby open right away. The warmer alternates which fragrance it releases (cozy vanilla and vanilla bean) and the two combine to create the most heavenly vanilla yum.
You can control the scent intensity by adjusting a switch on the back. I’ve been keeping mine on low which has been perfect for me.
After a couple weeks of the yummy vanilla goodness, I got brave and went back to Glistening Alpine and look how much I’ve used the candle already!
It smelled so darn good and the fragrance wafted all the way from the back bathroom into the main family room of my house. I loved it so I just kept it lit for hours and hours and then I read the back of the box where it says never to burn the candle for longer than 4 hours at a time.
Oops.
At least no tragedy befell me, but I shan’t burn +4 again.
Now I want to try the rest of the Febreze Holiday Collection which includes six warm and inviting scents:
Apple Spice & Delight: The warming scent of fresh-baked apples coated with sweet cinnamon (available only online)
Cozy Vanilla Sugar: Sweet as notes of vanilla that comfort you like a cocoon of blankets
Cranberries and Frost: Rich as ripe cranberries and frost on a white winter’s day
Glistening Alpine: As soothing as a tree-lined mountainside glistening with the scent of pine
Winter Magic & Glow: Crisp as sunshine-lit icicles in fresh, frosty air
Holiday Bloom & Cheer: As cheerful as a chorus of holiday aromas blended with winter blossoms
