February is the month of love, so don’t forget to love your skin with Eucerin!
A daily routine is so important for overall skin health, so here are a few tips from Eucerin to keep your skin looking and feeling its best in February.
Exercise! Not only is it a great way to relieve stress, but the physical activity helps keep the oxygen and nutrients flowing to your skin cells.
Moisturize! Be sure to use rich, nourishing creams to add extra moisture and soothe dry skin, and remember to use lip balm on your pretty pout.
Sleep! It’s one of the first things we give up, but as we sleep, our skin cells have a chance to regenerate. Experts recommend 6-8 hours nightly.
Cut back on sugar! Did you know processed sugar can encourage the breakdown of collagen causing your skin to become dull and less taut? Ugh.
Exfoliate! Gentle exfoliation helps remove dead, flaky skin cells and expose the fresh, healthy new cells.
Vitamin C! Stock up on foods rich in Vitamin C, like guava, kiwi and tomatoes. Vitamin C aids in cell damage prevention, helping your skin be less prone to wrinkles.
Some other things I do and/or am trying to get better at doing are drinking lots of water, using facial washes instead of soap, wearing gloves to help protect my hands from chapping, applying lotion right after I shower to lock in the moisture better, and always wearing some sort of sunscreen.
