I have two kinds of crackers in my house all the time: soda crackers and Triscuits. I tend to eat the exact same snack day in, day out. Is that boring? It is, isn’t it?
Let’s blame it on my mom. I try to blame as much on her as I can. She likes it.
But wait maybe this isn’t as boring as it sounds cuz I get all switcharoo-y when it comes to cracker toppers! I only like cheese or chili upon a soda cracker, but I’ll pretty much eat anything on top of a Triscuit!

I tried three of the flavor varieties: Sea Salt & Black Pepper, Sweet Potato with Roasted Sweet Onion, and Red Bean with Roasted Red Pepper.
First I tried them naked (the crackers, not me), then with a soft cheese spread and finally with some toppers that turned them into bite-sized appetizers.
Brown Rice Triscuit Cracker Toppers
Sea Salt & Black Pepper: hard boiled egg, bacon and parsley
Sweet Potato seasoned with Roasted Sweet Onion: pepper jack cheese, peach mango salsa, cilantro
Red Bean seasoned with Roasted Red Pepper: fresh mozzarella tomato, basil
Brown Rice Triscuit crackers are baked with 100% whole grain brown rice and wheat and they still have their famous shredded texture.
While the original Triscuits will always be my favorite (you didn’t expect me to change my ways completely, did you?), these are a really tasty way to give a little pop of flavor to the classic cracker.
Packed with 21 grams of whole grains per serving, and free of high fructose corn syrup, hydrogenated oil, cholesterol and artificial flavors, you just might want to give them a try! (The Brown Rice variety still contains wheat so they’re not gluten-free.)
