When I moved into a smaller home a few years ago, I had to put at least half of my “stuff” in storage, including all of my seasonal decor. I’ve still been putting up the Christmas tree every year, but that’s about it from the yesteryears box.
Holiday decorating in small spaces is challenging! I guess I just have to face facts that I need to start decorating for the space I’m in now, not the space I used to be in.
Good thing there’s Solutions! They asked me if I’d like to do a little shopping on them. And how!!!
Solutions specializes in products that make life easier, so their seasonal decorations are display-ready and many of them have battery powered lights. They also have an abundance of ideas to help me with my holiday decorating in small spaces problem!
When I saw this lighted crystal garland strand, I knew I had to have it! In fact, I ordered two of them.
And I fell in love with this Tabletop Snowy Twig Tree and had to have that too. It has little battery-powered lights on the end of the branches! The possibilities of how to use this darling little tree are endless, but I had something in mind…
I have a sitting area in the front entry of my house and it’s mostly lonely in there because the TV is in the other room, but yet it’s the first room you see when you walk in. I knew that I could take the tree and the lights and create a welcoming wintry display on the coffee table.
So that’s exactly what I did! I put a blanket of snow out on the table and laid the beautiful crystal light garlands around it. Then I took some of my own brightly colored ornaments and hung them on the snow-laden branches of the little tree.
Isn’t it cute?
And when it gets dark, I turn on the lights and holiday magic happens!
My heart grows three sizes every time I look at my holiday decorations and I’m not even a Grinch! I am so, so happy with everything I found at Solutions.
Take a look and I’ll bet you find something you love as well, and you can check out their Pinterest board for more small space holiday decoration ideas!
Happy holiday decorating!
