Operation: #PileOnTheVeggies with Maleficent at Subway! + Giveaway

It’s officially Operation: #PileOnTheVeggies time at Subway and it all has to do with the MALEFICENT movie! In this fun new campaign and video, Jared Fogle introduces a magical quest a la Maleficent and encourages kids to pile on the veggies and conjure up the ultimate taste creation!

Disney’s MALEFICENT, the untold story of the iconic ‘Sleeping Beauty’ villain, opened in theaters May May 30th and is going strong! I can’t believe I haven’t seen it yet. Have you? I think it’s going to be a holiday weekend must-see!

Now Subway, on the other hand, I’ve been there twice in the last week; once while traveling and once for a quick lunch while out shopping.

And I definitely piled on the veggies! I added spinach, tomatoes, green peppers, cucumbers, banana peppers and lettuce. I piled on so many veggies that my tiny little mouth could barely bite into it! :)

My boyfriend piled on the veggies too! He added even more than I did but he has a big mouth, so he tackled it just fine.

For those of you with kids, watch them pile on the veggies too! It’s fun (and tasty). The Fresh Fit menu items come with a sandwich, apple slices, low-fat milk or juice and these neat Maleficent tote bags!

After being stuck in a rut with ordering the same toppings every time, it was so much fun to really look at the kazillions of veggie options available at Subway and pile on some new ones!

I make fresh fruit smoothies and popsicles to keep my 4 kids hydrated and cool during the hot FL summers. We eat lots of fresh garden veggies to help maintain good health to have energy to play outside.

  3. Tammy Greer says:

We love the summer and all the fresh fruit and vegetables available. We love to try new, healthy recipes and eating such good food gives us the energy to power through these long, glorious summer days.

  4. Laurie Emerson says:

Veggies and healthy eating helps us power up for the summer activities as they give us the extra energy boost we need. Heavier meals and snacks just tend to slow us down and hard to get motivated, especially in the summer heat.

Thanks for the giveaway…when our kids aren’t swimming or playing volleyball during the summer break…or sleeping…they are eating salads, burritos, burgers, Subway, etc. to keep them going !
