My name is Liz and I’m the “nut” of “A Nut in a Nutshell”. I love to laugh, look at the quirky side of things, and make sense out of nonsense (or vice versa). 
My roots are in the Midwest, but I moved to coastal North Carolina about two years ago.
I was working in the Travel & Tourism industry and loved it, but gave it up to stay home and raise my two kids, a boy and a girl, both of whom inherited my nutty gene. 
I spend the bulk of my time on blogging and social media, and through that I have been enjoying food, travel, tech, home decorating, entertainment and wonderful experiences which I get to share with you!
